In-house digital dental laboratory in Costa Rica

OG Center’s dental laboratory is integrated with the clinic in Curridabat, San José. Technicians, ceramists and dentists communicate to design and prepare the restorations indicated in each patient’s plan.

From scanning to clinical review

  1. Case information: the dentist communicates the diagnosis and indicated restoration.
  2. Digital design: records and scans support the proposed design.
  3. Fabrication: milling or 3D printing is selected according to the work.
  4. Try-in and review: the clinic assesses fit, function and appearance and coordinates any changes.
  5. Delivery and follow-up: patients receive care instructions and recommended appointments.

CAD/CAM, milling and 3D printing

The digital workflow includes Primescan intraoral scanning and Exocad design. The laboratory uses Sirona MCX5 and XL milling equipment, along with 3D printing for the workflows that require it.

Restorations include crowns, bridges, veneers and implant-supported prostheses, with materials such as zirconia and E-MAX selected according to clinical needs. Every restoration requires team review; technology supports planning and fabrication.
