OG CENTER · CURRIDABAT, SAN JOSÉ
Invisible Orthodontics in Costa Rica
Custom clear aligners. A plan you understand. Follow-up throughout treatment.
Explore options for aligning your smile without deciding solely on a photograph or a promotion. At OG Center, a consultation is the starting point for discussing your goals, evaluating your mouth and preparing an individual proposal.
What are clear aligners?
They are custom-made, removable devices that apply forces to move teeth gradually. They may be an option in selected cases of crowding, spaces between teeth and bite problems. Not every case is treated in the same way: choosing between aligners, braces and other alternatives requires a professional evaluation.
The American Association of Orthodontists explains how they work and why follow-up matters in its guide to clear aligners.
Your evaluation at OG Center
Tell us what you would like to change and what you need to know before making a decision. Bring information about previous treatment and any available dental studies. We will explain which records are useful and what else may be needed. You do not need to choose an aligner count or package in advance.
Diagnosis and digital planning
OG Center has Primescan intraoral scanning and digital dentistry resources. The team determines which records your case requires and explains the proposed treatment. A simulation helps discuss goals; it is not a guarantee of a result.
Ask for your plan to identify the clinician responsible, the expected stages and how to raise questions during treatment. Learn about our clinic in Curridabat and our dental treatments.
Follow-up and completion of treatment
Reviews allow your clinician to assess progress and decide whether adjustments are needed. Follow the prescribed wear schedule and aligner changes; do not advance stages on your own. Discuss retention and maintenance when treatment is complete. See the AAO frequently asked questions for additional information about reviews and retainers.
Invisible orthodontics cost: compare the complete plan
Before accepting an offer, request written details of what is included and charged separately. Your individual estimate should distinguish evaluation and studies, planning, the proposed aligners, reviews, possible refinements, replacements and retainers.
A starting payment does not necessarily represent the total price. Ask about the full amount, current payment terms and what happens if further adjustments are needed. Do not assume all these items are included: they should be confirmed in your proposal.

Frequently asked questions
How long does treatment take?
It depends on the diagnosis, required movements and your progress. Request an individual estimate and ask what could change it. The same timeframe should not be promised to everyone.
Can I remove them to eat?
Aligners are removable. Your clinician will explain when to remove them, how to care for them and how many hours to wear them according to your system and plan.
Are invisible orthodontics and Invisalign the same?
No. Invisalign is a brand, while clear aligners describe a treatment category. Confirm the specific system included in your estimate. At your evaluation, we will explain the proposed system, its features and recommended follow-up.
Should I choose aligners or smile design?
These approaches address different needs. Tell us whether tooth position, color, shape or function is your priority so we can discuss alternatives. You can start by exploring Digital Smile Design (DSD).
